I give one-star reviews for absolute dreck because you are not allowed to give "no stars." Since this book is NOT among the worst books I have ever read, I felt it was deserving of two stars.

This book reads like an informercial: Here's what it can do for you! You will be healthier! Lose weight! Possibly loose some of your allergy symptoms! Are you a vegetarian? Guess what? It can still work for you! Like milk? Still works for you! Lactose intolerant? Works! Need some carbs? works! Get rid of all carbs! Works! Athlete? Works!

Over and over we are told that the main point of the diet is to get rid of processed and refined foods. A couple times she mentions that there's a science to it. By the end of the book, I still can't quite figure out if it's a combining science or portion science.

So there you are - for no money whatsoever, nor having wasted any of your time, you now know as much as I do about this diet.

Just skimmed it, not really my thing but worth it if you are into this. No complaints for it, though.
It's hard to complain about a book I got for free. This one is a great read and very interesting. I recommend it.
Fairly comprehensive for getting started on the Paleo Diet. Probably a great diet judging by the guidelines. One must be committed to learning new tastes and new techniques to succeed.
This is an interesting diet and very effective. This reads well and is easy to understand. Not to mention,you cannot beat the price. When was the last time you got something good for free? Plus im also down 6 lbs for any women in Illinois! )
I can't complain since it was a free e-book, but the generalities were repetitive and it lacked specifics. If you're considering buying it I recommend a web search instead. Any Paleo website or blog intro page will have the same info readily available.
This is a generic book with too many variations to the original Paleo diet plan. It got to be a bit confusing in some sections, so I skipped them. Topics were repeated in several sections and I did not find this book to be very helpful.
