Under a Vampire Moon An Argeneau Novel Argeneau Vampire Lynsay Sands Books

I recommend this book 📖 highly and if you get married then when you go on a honeymoon go to the Caribbean.

Margarita strikes again with her son Christian, finding his Lifemate in the Caribbean. Carolyn is still smarting from divorcing her husband, and not looking to replace him, but Margarita knows Christian is the one for her so tries to get them together.

Christian must play a gay man so that Carolyn will get to know him better. If you’ve ever been around gay men then you know how funny many of them are, however; since Christian isn’t it just makes this story even funnier for me!!! All the things that Christian must do in order for Carolyn to relax around him makes me laugh!!!

Finally, at the end of everything Carolyn finds out the truth and is fine with it all and she is willing to be turned. Sad end note, one of her best friends turned out, was trying to kill her because her soon to be ex-husband said she was in the wrong when it was actually the other way around. But at least Carolyn got her man!!!

Under a Vampire Moon An Argeneau Novel Argeneau Vampire Lynsay Sands Books Reviews

I enjoy all the books in the series but this is the only one I have read and listened to multiple times. Yes it doesn't have got the danger factor of some of the others where nasty beings are chasing them down, altho there is more going on but that is revealed in the end. I like the humour in this instalment, it has me laughing out loud over and over each time I read or listen to it. Poor Zanipolo, haha. Only critique offered is how mute Raffaele appears to be, it's easy to forget he is there, I kept thinking say something mate or are you off doing your own thing...
Where do I begin? Lazy. In this double digit series I've read probably close to 15 books. Every book so far had a full blown reveal of the immortal history. In many books the human gets turned. Most in fact. Or in some cases the MCs are both immortal. This book had none of that. So if this is the first book a reader picks up... Maybe it's a marketing ploy to sell other books where the author bothered to explain stuff. In the current marketing environment publishers want an author to write several books a year. This book is an example of that. This book read like a bad first draft.

Furious. I was so excited to read this because I was intrigued by Christian from other novels. Right Lyndsay you put them in other books so we want more of them. I want a do over for Christian immediately.

Pathetic. Spoiler- Christian is forced to pretend he's gay to get close to Carolyn. Let's skip over the fact that means he's lying to her. But all the make out sessions and copping feels doesn't make her scratch her head. It made the her come off as dumb. I appreciate a good (and well written and well developed) fake girlfriend trope. This just read like a vomit draft. 50% of the middle was just filler.

Then finally the last chapter it all comes out. Everything. Everyone's motivations. Then bang. The end! No chance for anyone to grow or change from that info.

More Notte characters. I didn't immediately embrace the Notte diversion in this series. But Vampire Interrupted was so masterful I was ready to jump in hungrily. I read Dante and Marcus' books and enjoyed them. Here we have 4 more cousins I never heard of them. How are they Christians cousins? Which of Juluis' sisters? And are they plans for four more books that will be rushed and forced.

Seriously I want a new book for Christian. He deserves better and so do the readers.

Oh and Etiennes life mate is RACHEL not Jackie. Lazy. Pathetic.
I fell into the Argeneau Series by accident - when a former co-worker had extra books that she was gifting to her mother-in-law; so I chose one of these books. The series went from being hilarious and interesting to dang near ready to be placed in a coffin. Feeling like she should wrap up the series. The whole Dressler storyline has been dragging on and on and on now. There were some parts that were pretty good. I was definitely digging it at some parts and at least she still has me laughing while reading with her humor. No spoilers - no synopsis - that can be gleamed from the site and the back of the book. Scenario Immortal has been alive a long time - meets a human or another immortal finds they are lifemates - experiences some type of peril or trouble and in the midst of all this - has amazing lifemate relations. No dig at the plotline - just ready for the series to come to a lovely end.
While Marguerite & Julius are in the Caribbean she finds Christian his mate.

Christian, is a hard rock violinist & has a band with some of his Italian cousins & they come to the Caribbean to play.

Carolyn Connor is at the Caribbean with her friend Bethany & visiting their friend Genie who works at the resort where they are staying when she meets Marguerite.

When Carolyn 1st meets Christian she's wary of him but she thinks that he's too young for her; especially after what her soon to be ex-husband has put her through. So, Gia, Christian's cousin tells her that he's gay & hasn't come out of the closet to the rest of his family yet & ask a Carolyn if she could act as his girlfriend & Carolyn agrees as she had done this in the past for another friend from college. That's how she & Christian get to know each other.

Christian has been unsure of this scenario since it was 1st mentioned but agrees to it to get closer to his lifemate & succeeds until near the end of the book when everything comes out; & Carolyn is actually ok with that & that's how the book ends. Which I found myself disappointed at the ending as there could have been so much more.

But, other than the disappointing ending it was still a very good book & I will keep going & read the rest of the books in this series.
